Rotary Walk 2010

The Kathmandu valley is gearing up for the Walk for Rotary, Walk for Health which will be held on Saturday, 3rd July 2010.

The initiative of Rotary International District 3292 Nepal to celebrate the Rotary Week from July 1-7 is truly a wonderful occasion to support the Rotary District Disaster Relief Fund and know better the cities of Kathmandu and Lalitpur (Patan). District Governor Rtn. Tirtha Man Sakya has pledged his suport and we are proud that our PP Rtn. Komal Chitracar is the Rotary Walk Convenor.

Rtn. Chitracar has already organized in the past mega events such as the 2005 Walkathon

The Walk for Rotary, Walk for Health will start from Mangal Bazar, Lalitpur and lead to Basantpur, Kathmandu through inner streets void of vehicles for about 2 hours of easy walk while exploring maybe some corners of the cities unknow to many of us before.

 Participation is only 100 Rs and the profits will be added to the Rotary District Disaster Relief Fund.
