The motto and the programmes assiocated.
There will be a message from the top of the world" which calls: "Let there be greater Peace and Understanding in the World, especially conflict affected regions" and "Congratulations to all Rotarians for 100 Years of uninterrupted Service to the Mankind and Best Wishes for the years ahead" as well as "Let us increase our Environmental Awareness and try to keep the Everest Region Pollution Free" which will be broadcasted via direct link to radio in Nepal and probably worldwide.
This message, togheter with the hoisting of the Rotary Centennial Flag and the Club flags of sponsoring Rotary Clubs and from those institutions sponsoring the event, will be the highlight of the expedition. Never before has the symbol of Rotary been brought higher by humans!
This extra-ordinary contribution from Rotary Clubs of Nepal to Rotary Centennial Celebration will highlight Rotary Movement and its accomplishments both locally and Internationally.
The increased media coverage will help to expand Membership growth and interest in Rotary both locally and worldwide, therfore adding to the reputation of Rotary ideals and service to mankind!
